Northwest of the Dogskin Mountains, 38 species were recorded on this transect, particularly Lark Sparrow, Gray Flycatcher, ravens, Chipping Sparrrow and House Finch.  Among the priority species recorded were Brewer's Sparrow, Swaison's Hawk, and Mountain Quail.  A portion of this transect burned in 2016.
