If snow has been stopping you from enjoying winter birds, you have no more excuses! We will head up the Mount Rose Highway to get out in the snow and explore some of the Carson Range’s winter birds. Snowshoe rentals will be provided, but feel free to bring your own if you have them. Plan to meet us at the roadside parking on the west side of the Tahoe Meadows area at 8:00 AM. We will snowshoe through open meadows, explore some forested areas, and plan to be back at the parking area at 12:00. Please RSVP either on the website or to outreach@gbbo.org so we can plan to have enough snowshoes in either adult or junior sizes.

Weather-related cancellation will be made up the following weekend on February 29th. If you cannot make this date, you will receive a full refund.
