GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of radical generosity. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Since then, it has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.

Last year GBBO launched our Adopt-a-transect fundraiser on Giving Tuesday, and our wonderful donors helped fully fund the surveys of six transects throughout Nevada.

Please consider supporting bird conservation in Nevada by adopting a transect this #GivingTuesday

Our Nevada Bird Count program has over 1100 transects located across the state. We have selected 50 of them for this year’s Adopt-a-Transect program.

Adding surveys from these transects will help us document conservation priority species, range shifts, and responses by common and rarer species alike to climate change, fires, and other disturbances.
