This year’s Winnemucca CBC will take place just after the Hart Mountain and Sheldon NWR counts. These remote count locations offer some unique birding, and lodging is available for Hart Mountain and Sheldon. This is a great opportunity to make a trip to under-birded parts of our region and help out on multiple CBC efforts! The Winnemucca count is going to be organized by Roy Morris: rmorris@blm.gov. If you would like to participate in this count, or have any questions, please get in touch with Roy. The count will meet at the Walmart parking lot and organize a game plan from there.
