For the final installment of this year’s January Lecture Series, Becky Lausch with the US Fish and Wildlife Service is going to talk about their work with White-faced Ibis. Motus technology has been around for a few years now, but is still an up and coming technology, changing the way researchers study wildlife. In this evening’s program Becky will talk about the methods her team used on their project, as well as present some preliminary maps showing how some of the birds have moved. This is a free event, but advanced registration is required.
