In the next installment of this series, GBBO’s Ned Bohman will build upon material from previous sessions. But, if this is your first session, you will not be lost, don’t worry! We will be meeting at Crystal Peak Park in Verdi. By cuing in to bird vocalizations, one begins to interpret more about the bird than simply its appearance. While these sessions are geared at learning bird vocalizations, they are also the first steps to learning bird behavior in a bigger sense. During this session Ned will point out the differences between some common songs and calls, and why exactly the birds are making these sounds now, but not a month ago.
