This trip is open to all current GBBO members.

Join us for a member’s retreat at Bodie Hills Preserve! This beautiful property is owned by The Wildlands Conservancy and is situated in the Mono Basin of Eastern California. We will spend time birding in the surrounding pinyon-juniper woodlands, as well as Mono Lake. Bodie Hills Preserve is also located near many stunning locations in the Eastern Sierra.

The weekend itinerary will include birding trips to nearby locations each morning, and a group dinner provided by GBBO on Saturday evening. On Saturday afternoon Ned Bohman will give a presentation on pinyon-juniper woodlands and the bird life that inhabits them.

The exact location and additional details will be provided once registered. There are a limited number of beds in the facility, but plenty of room for camping on the grounds with easy access to all indoor facilities, this will all be arranged on a first-come-first-serve basis.
