Every year the Mono Lake Committee hosts the Mono Basin Bird Chautauqua. This weekend-long event is full of field trips and presentations from local researchers, experts, and enthusiasts. This year Ned Bohman will be leading a few Field Trips and presenting on GBBO’s Pinyon Jay Community Science Program. In order to attend these events, you must register for the festival using this link: https://www.birdchautauqua.org/registration. When you register, you select events you would like to participate in. Ned will be leading a field trip on Friday morning at 7AM to the South Mono Lake Tufa and Jeffrey Pines. The Pinyon Jay Community Science Talk will be at 1PM on Friday, and there will be a Pinyon Jay Field Trip on Saturday morning, meeting at 8AM. Hope to see you there!
