On this walk with Great Basin Bird Observatory’s outreach coordinator, Ned Bohman, participants will experience the birds of higher altitudes. The walk will meet at the southern trailhead of Tahoe Meadows. Hopefully by the end of July enough snow will have melted to give us access!! At this elevation and time of year, we can expect to see and/or hear breeding Lincoln’s Sparrow, Thick-billed Fox Sparrow, Wilson’s Warbler, and Nashville Warbler. Other high elevation targets include Williamson’s Sapsucker and Pine Grosbeak.
There are limited spaces available, so please RSVP asap to outreach@gbbo.org!
